Six ways your church will benefit from Class 201:
Deepening their relationship with God
Class 201 is designed to help participants grow in their spiritual life and relationship with God. By learning more about prayer, worship, and other spiritual disciplines, participants develop a deeper sense of intimacy with God.
Gaining a better understanding of the Bible
Class 201 includes teachings on how to read and understand the Bible. This helps church members better comprehend the teachings of the Bible and apply them to their own lives.
Building a stronger foundation for their faith
In Class 201, people deepen their understanding of core Christian beliefs and become better equipped to face challenges to their faith and respond to common objections.
Connecting with other believers
Class 201 is often taught in a small group setting, which provides group members an opportunity to connect with other Christians who are also seeking to grow in their faith. This leads to the formation of strong relationships and a sense of community.
Developing a personal plan for growth
Class 201 includes teachings on how to create a personal growth plan. This helps class members identify areas where they need to grow and set specific goals to achieve that growth.
Learning practical skills for living out their faith
Class 201 includes teachings on how to live out your faith in practical ways, such as serving others and sharing the Gospel. This equips people to make a positive impact on the world around them and to live out their faith in tangible ways.
What is Class 201?
Life wasn’t meant to be lived standing still. The people of your church should always be moving, learning, and growing as people and as followers of Jesus. But it can be easy to get stuck in a rut. It’s not that people are unwilling to grow–but sometimes they aren’t sure where to start or what to do next. For many churches, it’s as simple as helping people establish a few key habits to get them on the right track. Class 201: Discovering My Spiritual Maturity is the second of the four CLASS courses. Class 201 is designed to teach participants about these simple habits and explain the different steps your church members can take to mature and grow as Christians.
Here’s what people in your church can look forward to in Class 201:
- Slow down the busyness of their schedule by learning how to develop a daily time with God
- Stop feeling like they’re alone in their problems by finding the right small group
- Let go of materialism by learning how to give to God first
